How can I take over a sponsorship?

How much does a sponsorship cost me?
A sponsorship costs at least 50,00 € per month. With this you support the school education of the child in Tanzania.
Do I have to be a member of Baraka – Kinderhilfe Kilimandscharo e.V.?
Basically you can take over a sponsorship for a child without being a member of the association Baraka – Kinderhilfe Kilimandscharo e.V.. Of course we would be very pleased if you would support our association Baraka – Kinderhilfe Kilimandscharo e.V. additionally with an annual membership fee of currently at least 20,00 €.
Which certificates will be issued?
When you take over a sponsorship, you will receive a corresponding certificate. Furthermore, at the beginning of each calendar year, we will issue you a donation certificate for the financial contributions of the previous year.
What contact do I have with my sponsored child?
You will receive the name and a picture of the child. Furthermore, you will receive a regular letter from your sponsored child at Easter and Christmas with all the news about his or her development. The contact to your sponsored child is made through a contact person in Tanzania and not directly.
How long do I support my sponsored child?
As a rule, you take over the sponsorship for the duration of the school education of the child. This is made up as follows:
- Kindergarten / Pre Primary School – 2 years
- Primary School P1-P7 – 7 years
- Secondary School F1-F4 (0 level) – 4 years
- Secondary School F5-F6 (A Level) – 2 years
